We are looking for an exceptionally experienced and proactive State Operations Manager to spearhead and enhance our operations in Victoria. This position demands comprehensive oversight of all operational facets, including leading a dedicated team and managing the state's operational budget.
Your arsenal includes a robust skill set in operations management bolstered by a well-connected network within the transport sector. Ideal candidates will exhibit:
- Proven Excellence: At least five years in operations and management within the transport or logistics industry.
- Regulatory Mastery: In-depth knowledge of OH&S, NHVAS, and COR and adherence to all relevant regulations ensure safety and compliance.
- Organizational Prowess: Exceptional organisation skills, with the agility to adapt and multitask, meeting crucial deadlines effortlessly.
- Innovative Thinking: A forward-thinking mindset, capable of solving problems efficiently and anticipating future challenges.
- Essential Licenses: A valid Driver's License and Forklift License, coupled with strong communication skills and tech proficiency in MS Office and MYOB.
As the State Operations Manager, you will:
- Drive Seamless Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all transport configurations and deliveries.
- Uphold Standards: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Engage Stakeholders: Foster strong relationships with customers, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.
- Manage Contractors: Oversee contractor operations, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Champion Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service, maintaining our reputation for excellence.
- Analyze and Improve: Conduct data analysis for informed decision-making and continuous operational improvement.
- Lead People: Inspire and develop the team, promoting growth and effective succession planning.
