Our client, a global leader in façade and structural engineering specialising in GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete), GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), and blast-resistant designs, seeks a talented Façade & Structural Design Engineer to join their dynamic Sydney team.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious projects locally and internationally, such as international sporting stadiums, high-rise towers, and cutting-edge zoo exhibits.
- Collaborate with engineers on groundbreaking projects under the guidance of Senior Engineers and Associates.
- Develop and refine structural analysis and design skills using advanced software, spreadsheets, and hand calculations that emphasise sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure design compliance.
- Produce comprehensive and detailed reports highlighting project impacts and innovations for various stakeholders.
- Engage in high-level engineering assignments across interstate and international projects.
- Drive innovation in façade and structural engineering solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in façade engineering.
- Expertise in designing steel and concrete structures.
- Proficiency with software like STRAND7, SpaceGASS, Robot, THERM, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, hand calculations, Australian Standards, and the BCA.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player with strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
